Masked Gunman Robs Buford McDonald's Early Saturday

BUFORD, GA — An armed man with a bandanna over his face robbed a McDonald's restaurant in Buford early Saturday morning.

Hall County Sheriff's deputies responded shortly after 4:30 a.m. to the McDonald's at 4810 Golden Pkwy. in Buford to an armed robbery call.

According to the sheriff's office, the man followed a store employee into the business at gunpoint and demanded money. He left the store with several deposit bags containing about $2,500.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male, standing about 6'1" and weighing about 220-250 pounds, with a muscular build. He was wearing a black bandanna over part of his face and is believed to have left the area in a gray, four-door car.

The handgun was silver, authorities said.

It is possible that others were involved in the robbery, the sheriff's office said in a news release.
