‘Plein Air Challenge’ Winners Tour Coming to Buford
Amateur artists have been painting scenery at several Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation locations. The winning selections will be on display throughout Gwinnett.
Since March, amateur artists have gathered at various Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation locations for outdoor, on-site painting. The meetings were held as part of the Plein Air (in the open air) Challenge.
In partnership with the Tannery Row Artist Colony, Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation (GCPR) arranged dates, times and locations for the artists to meet. In total, over 100 pieces were submitted for the challenge. The winning selections will be displayed as part of GCPR’s 25th anniversary celebration.
The The award ceremony will be held at 8:30 p.m.
