Police spokesperson Cpl. Michele Pihera said the man, believed to be in his late 20s, was shot multiple times in an apartment located at 2606 Hartford Run in Buford some time before 5 p.m.
Police responded to a 911 call at 4:43 p.m. When officers from the North Precinct arrived on scene they found the body of a black male just inside the home. No other people were inside the residence at the time, Pihera said.
