Police ID Victims in Fatal Lanier Boating Accident

Authorities have identified the people involved in the fatal boating accident Sunday on Lake Lanier.

Georgia DNR said So Yang Kim, 29, of Buford, died in the Sunday night accident, the Forsyth County News reported. Young Tae Shim, 34, also of Buford, was treated at the hospital for minor injuries.

One Killed in Boat Crash on Lake Lanier
Officials said the 36-foot boat the couple rented had run aground and capsized.
The accident happened around 9 p.m. Sunday.
