Red, White and Blue Celebration!

– In anticipation of Independence Day, some of our community’s youngest and brightest stars are showing their patriotism. Preschool and Summer Camp children from Primrose School of Buford commemorated the Fourth of July at their annual Red, White and Blue Celebration on Friday, July 1, 2016. The children showed off the red white and blue they decorated at the school and shared their American pride with our families. After our parade, we gathered at the flag for everyone to recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

The celebration aligns with citizenship and patriotism lessons the children are learning in school. During the month of July, students learn about teamwork, cooperation and following rules as “citizens” of the school and classroom. They engage in hands-on activities and read related books with their teachers. The citizenship lessons are part of the Primrose Schools Balanced Learning® approach, which blends purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion.
