Samuel London, 30, of Sugar Hill, was sentenced to eight years, four months in federal prison to be followed by 10 years of supervised release, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Atlanta said in a news release.
London was convicted of the charges in April after pleading guilty.

Prosecutors said London’s computers contained thousands of files containing child pornography, including images depicting the sexual abuse of infants and toddlers.
“It is beyond belief that anyone could enjoy watching the sexual abuse of infants and toddlers,” said Acting U.S. Attorney John Horn in a news release. “This defendant’s conduct fueled the production and trade of this disgusting material.”
“This sentencing of Mr. London removes from our community an individual who has consistently demonstrated his willingness to exploit vulnerable children through child pornography. This case not only reflects the commitment of law enforcement to aggressively pursue these types of cases but also illustrates why we need to,” said J. Britt Johnson, Special Agent in Charge, FBI Atlanta Field Office.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office said officers in Maryland seized a website in August 2013 that was used to advertise and distribute child pornography and discuss sexual abuse of children.
The investigation led to a Michigan man who told FBI agents he had sexually abused his own 3-year-old for a couple in Georgia to watch on Skype.
That led to the home of London and Heather Dalton in Sugar Hill. A search of their home uncovered the computer files.
Dalton is facing child molestation charges in Gwinnett County, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.
