Preparations are under way in Sugar Hill for the annual Fall Festival, according to the city newsletter.
The main event will be Saturday, Oct. 20, with a 5k run on Oct. 19.
On Oct. 20, thousands of attendees will be at E.E. Robinson Park to enjoy music, sample various foods, play games, interact with vendors, and purchase handmade goods from craft booths. The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Other activities includee:
- Chili Cook Off: cooking begins at 7 a.m. and judging begins at 1 p.m.
- Two car shows: the VW Competition and the Classic Cars event; registration begins at 9 a.m., trophies awarded at 3:30 p.m.
