Man Charged With Murdering Canton Siblings
The grisly scene was discovered around 1:30 a.m. Friday, July 22 at the Laurels at Greenwood Apartments.

CANTON, GA — A 28-year-old man has been charged with fatally stabbing two siblings at a Canton apartment complex.
Oscar Tierrablanca of Dallas has turned himself into authorities and has been charged with two counts of murder, Canton police said.
Tierrablanca, police added, is also the father of the female victim's 18-month-old child. The identities of the victims will be released once the family has been notified, the agency added.

Canton police responded to a call of an assault around 1:30 a.m. Friday, July 22 in building 3000 at Laurels at Greenwood Apartments at 1215 Hickory Flat Highway.
Officers arrived on the scene to find one man and woman "lying in the breezeway of the third floor," Canton police said.

The pair had stab wounds. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the woman was transported to Northside Hospital-Cherokee, where she was pronounced dead.
An autopsy will be conducted by the GBI's Crime Lab to determine an exact cause of death. Tierrablanca will be booked into the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center. Return to Patch for updates.
