5K for ADay Returns Sept. 17

The second annual race raises funds for Cherokee County students to attend Reinhardt University.

CANTON, GA -- Runners and walkers alike are encouraged to take part in a race to help a Cherokee County student attend college.

The 2nd Annual 5K for ADay will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 at Cannon Park in downtown Canton. Money raised for the event will benefit students at Reinhardt University.

“It is great way to promote health and wellness and at the same time raising funds for a great cause – student scholarships," said Dale Morrissey, director of development and external relations at Reinhardt. "When students benefit, it is giving back to our community and preparing leaders for tomorrow.”
