6 Cherokee Firefighters Promoted To Sergeant
All of these firefighters were hired on December 22nd, 2013 and they each received their Fire Apparatus Operator certification in May 2016.
From Cherokee County FD: Six Cherokee County firefighters were promoted on Wednesday night, September 26th, during ceremonies held at the Cherokee County Fire Training Complex, located just south of Holly Springs.
After a brief welcome from Cherokee County Fire Chief, Tim Prather, six firefighters were asked to come forward to receive their promotion warrant. Corey Deal, Joseph El-Bisi, Randy Fifield, Chris George, Josh McCord and Chris Roberts were all promoted to the rank of sergeant. All of these firefighters were
hired on December 22nd, 2013 and they each received their Fire Apparatus Operator certification on May 8th, 2016.
Numerous firefighters, chiefs and family members attended the event. Refreshments were held afterwards in honor of those receiving promotions. Congratulations to all of the firefighters for their recent promotion.
