Canton Boy Found Safe After Police Issue Amber Alert

Nathan Benito Zeller, 40, is accused of taking his 6-year-old son from the Canterbury Ridge Apartments Tuesday afternoon.

CANTON, GA -- The six-year-old boy who was reportedly taken from an apartment complex Tuesday afternoon in Canton has been located.

That's according to Canton police spokesperson Pacer Cordry, who said Nathan Anthony Zeller was located hours after his father, Nathan Benito Zeller, allegedly took the child from the Canterbury Ridge Apartments Tuesday afternoon.

Cordry said Zeller and the child were found by Canton officers around 9:35 p.m. as they were "returning back to the apartments."

Zeller will be charged with criminal damage to property under the Family Violence Act. Other charges, Cordry added, could be pending by detectives as they make their way through the investigation.

Canton police requested the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to issue a Levi's Call, Georgia's version of an Amber Alert, when little Nathan was reported missing around 4:10 p.m. April 18.
