Drs. Ryan Chen and Michele Perez of Resurgens Orthopaedics — Georgia's largest orthopaedic practice — were recently named Top Doctors in Metro Atlanta by Lifestyles magazine. This list is compiled based on fellow physicians’ recommendations.
Drs. Chen and Perez both practice at the Resurgens offices in Canton and Woodstock. Dr. Chen was named a Top Doctor for sports medicine, and Dr. Perez was named for rehabilitation/physical medicine.
In addition to Drs. Chen and Perez, Resurgens physicians Drs. Kenneth Kress, Todd Sacks, and Christopher Walsh were selected as Top Doctors.

Resurgens co-president Dr. Kay Kirkpatrick said the practice is “exceptionally honored to have five doctors on this year’s Top Doctors list. All of our physicians take pride in giving patients the highest quality of care, and it’s fulfilling to have that commitment to excellence recognized by other physicians.”
Lifestyles magazine surveyed doctors in Coweta, Fayette, Clayton, Henry, Carroll, and Douglas counties, and the cities of Vinings, Smyrna, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Marietta, Roswell, and Alpharetta, asking them to select a single local Top Doctor in each of more than 35 specialties. The results were published in the May/June 2011 issue of the magazine.
