"Angels" Deck the Halls at Northside Hospital-Cherokee
A local family decided to decorate the hospital for patients and healthcare workers who can't go home for the holidays.
CANTON, GA -- For many of us, there is no place like home for the holidays.
However, for hospitalized patients and healthcare workers, being at home isn't always possible.
This year, a local family has decided to lift the spirits of patients and staff members at Northside Hospital-Cherokee who are unable to be with their loved ones by bringing the holidays to them.

Teresa Smith, or “T” as she was affectionately known, was a patient at Northside Hospital during the 2013 holiday season when her family decided to decorate her room for Christmas.
After Teresa lost her 17-year battle with cancer in March 2014, her family established “T’s Angels,” a non-profit organization that shares T's story through projects that support others facing difficult obstacles.
