Asst. City Attorney Launches Campaign

Jeff Rusbridge is a partner at Dyer & Rusbridge, P.C. in Canton.

Canton attorney Jeff Rusbridge this week launched his campaign for the seat of retiring Cherokee County State Court Judge C.J. Gober.

“The judiciary is too important to (be) left up to activists or the uninitiated,” he said in a news release. “I’m running because we need judges on the bench with practical experience who are capable, fair, objective and tough.”

Rusbridge has been a practicing attorney in Cherokee for 12 years, the last seven as a partner at  in Canton.

Additionally, he is the assistant city attorney for Canton and Holly Springs, the city attorney for Nelson, and the municipal court solicitor for Holly Springs and Nelson.
