Join History Cherokee for an Exciting Summer Camp Adventure!
Looking for a fun and engaging way to keep your kids learning this summer? Join History Cherokee for Wild Discovery Summer Camp, happening June 8- 12, 2026, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. each day! Campers will explore history through STEAM-based activities that connect to the fascinating exhibits at the Cherokee County History Center.
Each day includes:
📖 A themed talk
🛠️ Hands-on activities
🏛️ Time in the museum galleries
🍽️ Lunch break (campers must bring their own lunch and water bottle)
Today's theme is River Science. We'll be joined by the Upper Etowah River Alliance to learn more about the Etowah River and how we can be better stewards of this natural resource.
This week's daily themes are Transportation, River Science, Geology, Your Backyard, and Toys & Games. $30 per day or $120 for the whole week.
