Canton Crash Kills Auburn Tractor-Trailer Driver
The 65-year-old man lost control of the tractor-trailer, which overturned and landed against a median wall, spilling debris onto the road.
CANTON, GA — A 65-year-old Auburn man died Wednesday morning after his tractor-trailer overturned on Interstate 575 north, Canton Police said.
Police said officers responded around 9:15 a.m. to the crash, north of Exit 16, where they found the overturned tractor-trailer resting against a median wall with debris scattered across the road.
The tractor-trailer was traveling in the middle lane, when the driver saw a second vehicle attempting to merge from the right lane, causing the tractor-trailer driver to lose control, police said. The tractor-trailer landed overturned against the median.

Police identified the driver as Ronald Campbell, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
