Canton Farmers Market Returns May 23

The Canton Farmers Market will soon return to the historic downtown loop.

Opening day for the market’s seventh season will be May 23, bringing locally grown and produced products for residents to enjoy.

The market will run each Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to noon at Cannon Park through October 2015.

Local farmers, artisans and food vendors are encouraged to apply by downloading a copy of the application from the city’s website or by emailing CantonGAFarmersMarket@yahoo.com to obtain a copy.

A vendor meeting has been scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 31 Bunker Design Collaborative at 121 East Main Street in downtown Canton (located above Jones and Cloud Insurance).

Prices are $8 weekly/$10 interval/or $20 monthly. Farmers that grow produce within 100 mile radius are free.
