Tuesday’s meeting comes on the heels of the Canton City Council last week voting to suspend parking enforcement. The suspension will last for 60 days or until the committee — made up of Council members Bill Grant and Farris — come up with a list of recommended changes to the city’s policy.

The Canton Police Department will just issue warning citations for those found to be in violations of various stipulations.
