Canton Officer Promoted To Rank of Sergeant

CANTON, GA -- The Canton Police Department hosted a ceremony last week for the promotion of officer Jesse Hamilton from the rank of corporal to sergeant.

Police Chief Mark Mitchell presented Sgt. Hamilton with his Attention to Orders during the ceremony, which was held Monday, Feb. 27. Hamilton's wife and son were honored with the privilege of pinning on his new badge.

Sgt. Hamilton has been with the Canton Police Department for more than four years.

"Sgt. Jesse Hamilton has the skill set and motivation needed to be an exceptional asset to our supervision team," Mitchell added.
