CANTON, GA — A Canton man died after police said he was hit by a truck while standing in the roadway on Marietta Highway, south of Herndon Lane.Canton Police said Thursday the accident happened around 9:40 p.m., Tuesday. Pedestrian Luis Tercero Loarca died at the scene after being hit by a silver Ford truck, police said.The driver of the Ford was not injured, however, the truck had moderate damage, police said.
