Students Michael King of Dallas, Tharis Word of Cartersville and William Beasley of Canton each received a $250 cash award and a certificate of recognition.

Through AutoNation’s generosity, Chattahoochee Tech is able to recognize its best and brightest students in the Automotive Technology program. Students who show outstanding leadership skills, significant levels of academic improvement, or who demonstrate a higher level of commitment to their studies can be nominated by program faculty.

Those nominations are submitted to AutoNation for selection and awarding of the scholarship awards.

Kristen Sowemimo, market human resources manager for AutoNation, said the company looks forward to a continued partnership with Chattahoochee Technical College.
