Canton Veterinarian Charged With Robbery, Assault
Dr. Walton Waller is accused of pointing a firearm at a mechanic and his wife and demanding money he believed was owed to him.

CANTON, GA -- The veterinarian accused of pointing a firearm at a couple during a business dispute is now behind bars.
Dr. Walton Waller, 54, of Canton, has been booked into the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center after he was released from an undisclosed hospital in the metro Atlanta area.
Waller is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, two counts of false imprisonment, reckless conduct and obstruction of a 911 call.

The charge stem from a May 28 incident in which Waller allegedly pointed a firearm at a mechanic and his wife and "demanded money he felt was owed to him," said Cherokee Sheriff's Office spokesperson Lt. Jay Baker.
Baker said Waller remains held without bond.
