The city of Canton is helping small businesses grow their presence online with its Let’s Put Canton on the Map workshop.

The seminar will feature a lesson about Google Maps and how local businesses can put their business online. The workshop is set for 4 to 6 p.m. Dec. 9 at Friends American Grill, which is located at 100 River Pointe Parkway in Canton.
Let’s Put Canton on the Map is part of Google’s Get Your Business Online program and aims to bring community members, business owners, and civic leaders together to help small businesses succeed on the web.
