'Caroling With A Cop' Set For Wednesday in Canton

The Canton Police Department will sing Christmas songs Wednesday, Dec. 21 at Starbucks on Riverstone Parkway and Canton Marketplace.

CANTON, GA -- By now, you've heard about the Canton Police Department's Coffee With a Cop series.

Well, the agency is taking advantage of a popular way to celebrate the holidays as part of its ongoing mission to build a relationship with the community it serves.

Officers with the Canton Police Department will hit the streets next week and sing Christmas carols at various businesses.

The first session of Caroling With a Cop will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21 during the department's upcoming Coffee With a Cop event at Starbucks at 1353 Riverstone Parkway.

If you're unable to swing by Starbucks during that two-hour time slot, you can catch the officers at 3 p.m. at Canton Marketplace at 2022 Cumming Highway. During the afternoon, the team will start at La Parilla Mexican Restaurant and make its way around the shopping center.

Residents are invited to come out to both events or, if you're feeling the Christmas spirit, sing along with the officers.
