Cat Benitez Joins RE/MAX Town & Country as Director of Operations & Development

Cat Benitez has joined RE/MAX Town & Country where she will be responsible for a variety of corporate functions.

RE/MAX Town & Country is pleased to announce that Cat Benitez has joined their growing real estate franchise.

Cat has her Broker’s license and has been in the real estate industry licensed for over 13 years. In Cat’s new role with RE/MAX Town & Country, not only will she be listing and selling properties, she will be responsible for a variety of corporate functions including, but not limited to, training, recruiting, retention, new business development, as well as creating synergies and efficiencies within the corporate structure, systems, and operations.

Previously, Cat served as Director of Corporate Services at Community & Southern Bank, overseeing all the banking branches and facilities, along with the corporate owned real estate portfolio. Under Cat’s leadership, the bank acquired, sold, and managed over 2,500 properties of all classifications.

Cat attended Florida State University and graduated from the School of Business with a degree in Hospitality Administration and minored in Finance and English. Cat, her husband Mario and their two children, Jordan and Parker, have lived in Ellijay for 17 years. Jordan is a sophomore at the University of West Georgia and Parker is a sophomore at Gilmer High School.

Giving back to the community is important to Cat. She is currently a member of The GilmerCounty Optimist Club, Secretary of the Gilmer High School Tip Off Club, UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) Early Emergency Responder, and attends the United Methodist Church, Ellijay.
