CCSD recognized its school bus drivers on Tuesday morning with a drive-through breakfast and gifts.  CCSD Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian Hightower, along with School Board Chair Kyla Cromer, School Board Vice Chair Robert Rechsteiner, Chief Operations Officer Dr. Debra Murdock, and Chief Human Resources Officer Rick Beaulieu visited with drivers at two bus maintenance facilities, passing out Chick-fil-A biscuits and goody bags from sponsors.  Executive Director of Transportation Jim Georges and his transportation staff also worked the events and expressed their support for school bus drivers. Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta sponsored breakfast, with “swag bag” gifts donated by Chick-fil-A, and Nothing Bundt Cakes.  A gallery of photos from the event can be viewed here.
