Hundreds of athletes, peer helpers, CCSD staff and community volunteers participated in the annual CCSD Awareness Games on Friday, October 15, at River Ridge HS. CCSD elementary, middle and high schools sent athletes and student volunteers to the event, which was co-coordinated by Amy Aenchbacher, Paula Dixon, Amanda Farist, Ben Farist, Sherri Knox and Dave Martinez, along with Sydney DeRosier, student coordinator . PTAs hosted additional games and activities for athletes as well in Olympic Town, and Reinhardt University sent student volunteers to staff games and cheer on the participants.
