CCSD Congratulates Judy Johnson Memorial Scholarship Winners
For the 2017-18 school year, the Association donated $2,000 in order for scholarships to be awarded to two recipients.

From CCSD: The Cherokee County School Board on Thursday congratulated the winners of the Judy Johnson Memorial Scholarship, presented by the Cherokee County School Nutrition Association.
The scholarship honors the service of a dedicated Cherokee County School District School Nutrition employee, Judy Johnson, and provides at least one scholarship per year in the amount of $1,000 to a CCSD graduating senior or recent graduate now attending college.
For the 2017-18 school year, the Association donated $2,000 in order for scholarships to be awarded to two recipients. Applications were solicited by the Association, and the five-personcommittee was comprised of a CCSD School Board Member, Principal, School Counselor, and two community members.

The applications were reviewed and scored, with Cherokee HS Class of 2018 graduate Jayme Bricker and Sequoyah HS graduate and current Kennesaw State University junior Erin Wehunt chosen as the recipients.
