CCSD To Hold Annual Plan Review Meetings
Each year CCSD is required to complete an assessment to examine systems and structures for Federal funding.

From CCSD: The Cherokee County School District will hold its annual Comprehensive Improvement Plan Review parent meetings later this month.
Under authorization of the Every Student Succeeds Act, CCSD, as a Local Educational Agency (LEA), is provided Federal funds for initiatives designed to meet the educational needs of eligible students.
Each year, as part of the funding application process, CCSD is required to complete a District Comprehensive Needs Assessment to examine the systems and structures that are in place to sustain improvement in student academic achievement, as well as detail how the District will serve various populations of students (economically disadvantaged, disabled, limited English proficient, homeless, etc.).
