Chanukah Celebration & Menorah Lighting in Cherokee County

The Chabad Jewish Center and The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta invite the community to the 7th Annual Menorah Lighting.

The Chabad Jewish Center and The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta invite you to the 7th Annual Chanukah Celebration & Menorah Lighting in Cherokee County on Tuesday, December 16, starting at 5pm. The celebration is open to the public and people of all faiths are encouraged to join the public celebration of religious freedom. The stage area is located near the Food Court.

Rabbi Zalman Charytan shared, “This year our Menorah will be carved out of ice by a professional ice sculptor. Join us at 5pm and watch the Ice Menorah take shape or at 6pm for the Lighting Ceremony and festivities. This year the Menorah Lighting will feature a special musical presentation featuring Aaron Holder!”

Holder blurs the boundaries between Jewish and mainstream music by using elements of Folk, Pop, Country, Rock and hint of Reggae, laced with a deeply spiritual vibe. Aaron has already made a name for himself in the Jewish community with his inspiring songs and moving performances but this much recent album takes him to another level, crossing him over to the general public. According to Aaron, “Singing is not something that I try to do.. For me, singing is an instrument of healing for myself and others. The world needs inspiration and I am glad to be a part of it.”
