Chattahoochee Tech Honors Retiring Educators By Donating Books
The Cherokee Chamber Education Committee recognizes retiring educators by donating funds to the Sequoyah Regional Library System.

CANTON, Ga. — The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce Education Committee, in partnership with Chattahoochee Technical College, recognizes retiring educators from the Cherokee County School District by donating funds to the Sequoyah Regional Library System.
The funds will be used to purchase books for all five library branches located in the county. The books will include a label recognizing all faculty, staff and administrators who retired during the 2018-19 school year. Each retiree will receive notification that a book is being donated in their honor.
“This is the 10th year that the Chamber has acknowledged retiring educators for their valuable contribution to the lives of students in Cherokee County," Pam Carnes, Chamber president & CEO, said. "The Chamber is pleased to have Chattahoochee Technical College sponsor this tribute to Cherokee County’s educators."
