Cherokee 8th-Grader Going To State Spelling Bee
After winning the regional competition, this expert speller made it to the state competition in March.
From CCSD:Freedom Middle School eighth-grader Braden Flournoy, the Cherokee County School District’s spelling bee winner, this weekend won the Regional competition and now advances to the Georgia Association of Educators’ State Spelling Bee on March 15 in Atlanta. Schools and central office divisions throughout the Cherokee County School District are honoring their own support staff winner who will be nominated for the CCSD Support Staff Employee of the Year. School and Division honorees will be celebrated at an event on March 5, at which the CCSD overall winners in three categories will be named.
