Cherokee Career Expo Set For March 14

The event will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Northside Hospital Cherokee Conference Center in Canton.

CANTON, GA — The Cherokee Office of Economic Development will team up with the Georgia Department of Labor to host its fourth annual career expo next week in Canton.

Over the past three years, the Cherokee Career Expo has assisted more than 1,850 individuals in their job-seeking endeavors. This year's expo will feature a wide variety of companies, including Aramark, Belnick, Inc., Chart Industries, Inc., Georgia Highlands Medical Services, Inalfa Roof Systems, Jaipur Living, Kirk-Rudy, Northside Hospital, OECHSLER Motion, Inc. (adidas SPEEDFACTORY), Piolax, Roytec Industries, Southeast Restoration Group and Universal Alloy Corporation. Check out the full list here.

These Cherokee County-based employers are looking to fill positions ranging from healthcare, engineering and sales to customer service, project management and warehouse opportunities.

Representatives from Reinhardt University and Chattahoochee Technical College's career services centers will be available at 1 p.m. for resume assistance. Employers will begin meeting with job seekers at 2 p.m. Candidates should dress for success and bring resumes.
