Cherokee Chamber Names Volunteer of the Quarter

The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce has named Janet Ponichtera of Family Life Publications the Chairman’s Council Volunteer of the Quarter for third quarter 2015.

She was honored during the Chamber’s October Good Morning Cherokee networking event. Members of the Chairman’s Council are accepted by invitation only from the Chamber’s chairman of the board.

The Chairman’s Council members are invited to attend ribbon cuttings and groundbreaking ceremonies, New Member Coffees and special invitation Chamber meetings that aren’t open to the general membership.

In determining the Volunteer of the Quarter, attendance at Chamber events is evaluated for all members of the Chairman’s Council.

“Janet is a dedicated Chamber volunteer and we appreciate the countless hours of service she has provided this year,” said Jeff Rusbridge, Chamber chairman and partner with Dyer &Rusbridge, PC.
