Cherokee Chamber Names Volunteer of the Quarter

The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce has named its volunteer of the quarter.

Debra Brazell with Caring Senior Service of Atlanta Northwest has been named the Chairman’s Council Volunteer of the Quarter for fourth quarter of 2015.

She was honored during the Chamber’s December Good Morning Cherokee networking event.

Members of the Chairman’s Council are accepted by invitation only from the Chamber’s Chairman of the Board. The Chairman’s Council members are invited to attend ribbon cutting and groundbreaking ceremonies, New Member Coffees and special invitation Chamber meetings that aren’t open to the general membership.

Based in Woodstock, Caring Senior Service of Atlanta Northwest provides one-on-one care from a professionally trained caregiver for a variety of services. Counties served by the company include Cherokee, Cobb, Douglas, Paulding, Bartow, Gordon, Pickens, Dawson, Gwinnett, DeKalb, Carroll, Hall, Floyd, Polk, Haralson, Forsyth and north Fulton.

In determining the Volunteer of the Quarter, attendance at Chamber events is evaluated for all members of the Chairman’s Council.

“Debra is a committed volunteer who gives 100% to the Chamber and its programs,” said Chamber Chairman Jeff Rusbridge, who is also a partner with Dyer &Rusbridge, PC.
