Cherokee Charter Salutes Inspiring Teachers
Mr. Marcusky and Ms. King were nominated by Cherokee Charter Academy parents.

Chris Marcusky, an 8th grade teacher, and 3rd grade teacher Hannah King, are Cherokee Charter Academy’s “Most Inspiring Educators” for the 2014-2015 school year.
Mr. Marcusky and Ms. King were nominated by CCA parents and recognized for their efforts inside and outside the classroom.
Says one of Mr. Marcusky’s students, “He’s a fun and loving teacher. He has made literature hop off the page. I did not like reading or writing before his class, but now he’s changed my mind completely.”

A parent of one of Ms. King’s students observed, “Ms. King has done some amazing things with her students. The wonderful projects, creative lessons, and her genuine excitement for teaching has been wonderful to observe as a parent.”
Curriculum Resource teacher Kara Reeder was lauded by CCA’s PTC for her outstanding efforts in overseeing the school’s STEM (science, technology, engineering & math) initiatives.
