Cherokee County Closes Blalock Road Recycling Center
The Cherokee County Marshal's Office said the center on Blalock Road near Holly Springs will be closed for an indefinite period of time.
CANTON, GA — Cherokee County said Wednesday that its Recycling Center on Blalock Road near Holly Springs is closed to the public.
Jay Baker, spokesperson for the Cherokee Marshal's Office, said the facility at 470 Blalock Road in Canton will be closed "for an indefinite period of time."
Cherokee County officials have not offered any details on why the sudden closure has been implemented, only to say that its cause will be "released as soon as possible," Baker added.

Residents can use the recycling center at Hobgood Park, which is at 6688 Bells Ferry Road in Woodstock, for their household recyclables as well as the other commercial landfills in the county for their household trash.
