Cherokee County Fair Returns Next Week

Canton residents have one week before they can enjoy the festivities surrounding the 89th Annual Cherokee County Fair.

This year’s fair will be held Sept. 22-27 at Harmon Field Park in Canton.

Gates for the fair will open at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22; 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23; 5 p.m. Thursday Sept. 24 and Friday, Sept. 25 and 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 and Sunday, Sept. 27.

Admission into this year’s fair is free for children 5 and under as well as for residents age 65 and older; $2 for children 6-12; and $4 for children and adults age 13 to 64.

Harmon Field is located at 160 McClure Street.
