HOLLY SPRINGS, Ga. — Five Cherokee County firefighters were promoted May 14 during ceremonies held at the Cherokee County Fire Training Complex, located just south of Holly Springs. After a brief welcome from Cherokee County Fire Chief, Tim Prather, five firefighters were asked to come forward to receive their promotion warrant.The promotions include:<ul><li>Sergeant: Alexander Henderson</li><li>Sergeant: Nicholas Spain</li><li>Lieutenant: Nathaniel Croft </li><li>Captain: Jason Lamanac</li><li>Battalion Chief: Marc Liscio</li></ul>
