Cherokee County Firefighters To Host Golf Tournament

The tournament's funds will benefit the Cherokee Co. Firefighter Relief Fund to help families of firefighters in need.

From Cherokee County FD: Cherokee County firefighters will be hosting a Golf Tournament on October 20th to benefit the Cherokee County Firefighter Relief Fund. The tournament will be held at the Callahan Golf Links, located at 4991 Reinhardt College Parkway, in Waleska, Georgia. The Shotgun Start Scramble will begin at 9 AM wit registration being held from 7:30 AM until 8:30 AM.

The cost to participate is only $75 per player which includes green and cart fees with range balls included. First, second and third place trophies will be awarded including lunch.

The event will also have prizes for Hole in One, Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive and a Putting Contest. There will also be a raffle. Sponsorships levels range from $150 to $2,000.

The Cherokee County Firefighters Relief fund is organized for the purpose of providing physical, financial, and emotional support to Cherokee County firefighters and their families during times of need.
