Cherokee High School Student Wins $5,000 Scholarship
The scholarship was presented to Haley at the Cherokee County School Board's April 19 meeting.

From CCSD: A Cherokee High School senior has won a $5,000 college scholarship from a Cherokee County School District Partner!
As part of Waste Management of Metro Atlanta, Inc.’s Partnership Agreement with CCSD, the company awards one $5,000 scholarship to a graduating senior from a CCSD high
school each year. The designated school rotates annually; the Class of 2018 school is Cherokee High School, and the winner is Haley Hutchison.

A committee of Waste Management Pine Bluff Landfill Community Advisory Board and CCSD representatives selects the winner based on the criteria specified by Waste Management, Inc.
