Cherokee Lawmakers Schedule Town Hall Meeting, Delegation Day
The town hall meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Dec. 10 at the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce.

The Cherokee County legislative delegation next month will meet with local governments and other entities to discuss what initiatives they’d like to see resolved during the 2015 legislative session.
Delegation Day will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10 at the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce’s office. Following the series of meetings with representatives with local governments, organizations and other groups, the delegation will hold a town hall meeting at 6 p.m. at the chamber.
Delegation Day is reserved for local entities to communicate with lawmakers on what issues they’d like to see the delegation tackle in the Georgia General Assembly.

The town hall will be a forum for residents to hear a brief presentation from lawmakers. Residents will then voice their concerns and opinions on what priorities the state legislature should set when it convenes in January.
Both events will take place on the terrace level at the chamber, which sits at 3605 Marietta Highway in Canton.
