Cherokee Man Charged In Cyber Sex Crimes Case: GBI
A Cherokee County man is charged on suspicion of child sexual exploitation.
CANTON, GA — A Cherokee County man has been charged on suspicion of three counts of sexual exploitation of children in a cyber sex crimes investigation, according to the GBI.
Authorities charged Chantha "Bert" Pheuypraseuth on Oct. 20 as part of an ongoing child porn trade investigation conducted by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the GBI said.
The GBI began looking into his online activity after being notified he could potentially have child sexual abuse material, authorities said.

His home was searched, and then, he was arrested and taken to the Cherokee County Jail, authorities said.
