They're collecting toiletries, soft blankets, non-perishable food and other donations, and made their first deliveries before winter.

From CCSD: The Cherokee County School Nutrition Association, the professional organization for CCSD’s School Nutrition employees, has partnered with Goshen Valley and Angel House to collect donations for the children these nonprofit organizations foster.

The Association members are collecting toiletries, soft blankets, non-perishable food and other donations, and made their first deliveries before the winter holidays. They will continue making monthly deliveries throughout the school year.

The nonprofit Cherokee County School Nutrition Association is a local affiliate of the Georgia School Nutrition Association, which is the state chapter of the national School Nutrition Association. The School Nutrition Association represents more than 57,000 members across the country and is recognized as the national authority on school nutrition.
