CANTON, GA -- Five deputies with the Cherokee Sheriff's Office graduated recently from the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Pickens County.They include Deputies Lisa Dean, Oscar Robles, Austin Grist, Michael Scott and Ronald McAbee. They successfully completed 408 hours of P.O.S.T. mandated police training over the past 11 weeks. The deputies are currently assigned to the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center.
