Cherokee State Of The County, Feb. 1

We've heard the state of the union, now how about the county? The event is Thursday at 11:30 a.m.

CANTON, GA — Cherokee County officials, spectators and sponsors are attending the Cherokee State of the County address Thursday morning. The address will be at the Cherokee Conference Center.

The main speakers will be Buzz Ahrens Cherokee County Commission Chairman, Brian Hightower, Cherokee County Schools Superintendent and Misti Martin, Office of Economic Development President.

The event will last from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the conference center, which is at 1130 Bluffs Pkwy., Canton.

The cost is $55 for members and $65 for nonmembers.

Some sponsors of the event are AT&T, the Cherokee County School District, the Chamber of Commerce and several more.
