Cherokee Students Can Win BSSL Scholarship
The scholarship is the reward for community service through school, house of worship or community organizations.

CANTON-SIXES, GA — High school students in Cherokee County have the chance to win the Lexine Harper Community Service Textbook Scholarship, which is offered by the Bridgemill Sixes Service League.
There are two $1,000 scholarships available, according to Judy West, Chairperson of BSSL.
"The scholarship is based solely on community service either through school, house of worship or community organization," West said.

"Dedicated to the memory of our friend and fellow BSSL member, Lexine Harper. This program is to recognize exemplary seniors graduating from Cherokee County high schools who have committed themselves to service of others in the community," the BSSL website says.
