Church To Host Helicopter Easter Egg Drop

Sutallee Baptist Church in western Cherokee County will host a unique twist on Easter egg hunts.

The church will host a helicopter Easter egg drop on Saturday, April 4. Over 10,000 eggs are slated to be dropped from the sky.

At 12:30 p.m., babies and toddlers up to age 4 will have the opportunity to have their pictures taken with the Easter Bunny. Following that activity, the children will be escorted outside to take part in an egg hunt.

During the 1:30 p.m. hour, a helicopter will drop thousands of eggs on the lawn for children between the age of 5 and 12. Following the hunt, the Easter Bunny will stick around for another photo opportunity.
