City Donates $3,070 To Holly Springs Elementary STEM Academy
Holly Springs hosts its annual Memorial Day 5K and Fun Run the Saturday before the holiday and donates proceeds to local nonprofits.

HOLLY SPRINGS, GA - The city of Holly Springs chose to donate the proceeds from its Memorial Day 5K to a local school.
Holly Springs Mayor Tim Downing last week presented Holly Springs Elementary School STEM Academy with a check for $3,070.
The city's annual Memorial Day 5K and Run Run was held May 29.

“It is our pleasure to present this check to you and the students of Holly Springs Elementary,” he said. “The city enjoys planning many events for families throughout the year, but the Memorial Day 5K race is special because 100 percent of the proceeds are given to a local nonprofit. And this race was extra special because it benefited some of the city’s youngest residents, the students of HSES!”
Holly Springs hosts the Memorial Day 5K and Fun Run the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend each year. All race proceeds are donated to a local non-profit.
