Class Teaches Residents Basics of City Government
The city of Holly Springs will launch its inaugural Holly Springs 101 class April 19.

HOLLY SPRINGS, GA -- The city of Holly Springs is now accepting applications for its inaugural Holly Springs 101 class.

The class,which will begin April 19 during Georgia Cities Week, is designed to inform residents more about how each department in the city government operates.
Each two-hour session will be taught by city and county staff, and will cover topics in administration, municipal court, community development, public works, parks, police, and fire as well as future capital projects planned for the next five years.

The four sessions are scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. April 19, April 26 May 3 and May 10, and will be held in various locations throughout the city.
